Blog: Bubbles and Propaganda
Deception is involved in both cases.
As the AI Bubble continues to inflate, I was struck by the relationship between mania stories and propaganda. Both have common elements even though propaganda is a deliberate attempt to deceive and manias tend to be stories in self-deception. But regardless, it's important to recognize the common elements if we are to understand what's going on.
