Blog: Hard, Soft or Aborted Landing?

Aeronautical terms have been popular form of market jargon for a long time. These days, of course, it’s what type of recession we’re going to have:  a “hard” landing (which is a nice way of saying, a crash) or a “soft” landing, where we glide in without disturbing the passengers.  If you fly a lot you're probably familiar with the “aborted” landing where you briefly touch down and then suddenly take off again. In the aborted landing your journey, which you thought was ending, continues with you and the other passengers circling the airport for a while longer.  Aborted landings are often tied to unexpected turbulence.
