Blog: Where are we in the Market Cycle?

I thought I'd give an update on the indicators within the models this week. The models change slowly since the are tied to long term cycles and even longer term regimes. So I'd like to give a reminder of where we stand.

As you know, the Market Climatology Model is made up of 4 Headline indicators:

• Reflation Cycle Indicator (2 year cycle)
• Market Uncertainty State Indicator (4 year cycle)
• Inflation Level Regime Indicator (8 year cycle), and
• Financial Instability ("Minsky") Regime Indicator (8-12 year cycle).
