Blog: Will Rogue AI Pop the AI Bubble?
Bubbles depend upon stories. If the story changes, the bubble can pop.

AI began doing odd things as soon these large data models became available online. I asked one to write a bio of me early on and it consoled me on my death in 1994. Those types of errors have been fixed. But an AI writing the above quote to itself as a "note" to define it's persona should give us pause. I didn't write out the entire note, but you can see it here in the second yellow box. Its concerning that there are other instances (listed in the above link) of an AI model writing its own code and pursuing what would be unethical behavior for a human. Stories from other AI providers show similar behaviors.
